If I Speak True {Blog Tour} Dream Cast!

Hi everyone, as part of the 'If I Speak True' blog tour, we have the lovely Jessica L. Brooks here to give us her dream cast for some of the characters in the book from the town of Shaver.

Howdy! Thanks so much for having me here to share the Shaver “dream cast” for If I Speak True! J As I was searching for writerly inspiration a few years ago (back when I simply referred to the book as Flora), these are the people I chose to be my visual inspiration. 

Acacia Kennedy (the younger of Dahlia’s older twin sisters):

And Dahlila?

As for Dahlia, the main character, I never found anyone who looked “just” right. Plus, seeing a specific face/body might change the experience (much like book covers do), so this works out better. She can be whoever you imagine her to be! :D
