What I'm Reading
Melanie @ YA Midnight Reads bought me The Iron Fey series as a birthday/Christmas present and we decided that not only would we read the series together, but we'd include you guys too! We're in the middle of the read-along but it's never too late to join us!

The Books
Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd - This one is library book. I can't wait to read it!
Something Strange and Deadly by Susan Dennard - I've been wanting to read this for a while and I finally bought a copy for myself! I'm hoping to read this one soon too!
Cress by Marissa Meyer - I pre-ordered this baby. Another one I can't wait to read.
Avalon by Mindee Arnett - I won this during a twitter chat so big thanks to Nova @ Out of Time and Miss Arnett.

Book Boyfriend(s) of the Week
Ugh, this is so hard. Right now I really can't chose between Puck and Prince Ash. I just can't.... I haven't had enough of either to chose yet. They're basically equal in my eyes at the moment.
Genre I'm Crushing On

Ahhh look at Cress! I still need to go and buy myself a copy--I'm too lazy these days. Loving the new meme! (also: PUUUUCK <333)
ReplyDeleteHappy reading, Steph! <33
Thanks! *gasp* Mel! You need to get Cress. I really like Puck but I think I might be Team Ash.....
DeleteIsn't that article interesting? I know they weren't really talking about YA, but it definitely makes sense in this want-it-now culture to put books out quicker. Although the writing may suffer if they put to much pressure on authors. I still need to read Cinder, but I think every single one of my friends was fangirling about Cress this week. Lol. I hope you love it!
ReplyDeleteIt does. I'm just wondering if it's really feasible to put quality books out that fast. Oh man, read Cinder!
DeleteCress! Cress! Cress! This is a great post idea, btw, I especially like the "what genre are you crushing on". Such a good idea. ;) Mine changes daily. Heheh. I haven't heard much about that Iron Fey series. I'm looking forward to some reviews! woot!
